The bolt is jeweled and the trigger is gold plated.īore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The pad is in Excellent condition, as-is the stock. The recoil pad is still soft and pliable and shows only a few light marks. The LOP measures 13 13/16” from the front of the back of the recoil pad. The checkering is mostly sharp with a few spots of light wear. There a few very light handling marks in the buttstock and a few more on the left side of the forend at the front of the magazine release. There is a sling swivel stud mounted in the belly and a sling swivel base mounted on a boss on the underside of the barrel. There is a brown vented rubber recoil pad mounted at the butt marked with a Steyr logo. The pistol grip has a dark rosewood grip cap and the forend has a rosewood tip. The buttstock has a beautiful fiddleback pattern, so please see our pictures. Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one piece checkered fancy walnut with a pistol grip, Montel Carlo comb and cheekpiece. The scope is in about Excellent condition. The power ring is a little stiff, but does turn throughout its entire normal range.

The reticle is a wide view type full duplex and the lenses are clear and free of distortion. The scope has Butler Creek black plastic flip-up covers at both ends. There is a Redfield 3X9 “Illuminator” variable power scope mounted on the top of the receiver with two piece Redfield style mounts. The rear sight is a single “U” notches leaf sight dovetailed into a raised boss on the barrel and secured with a set screw. The vertical rear face of the blade is silver.

The right side of the barrel at the rear sight is marked “ONORM M3170 STLF3”.
The right rear of the receiver is marked “MADE IN AUSTRIA”. The right side of the chamber ring is also marked “104010”. Markings: The right side of the barrel and the right side of the chamber ring are each marked with a black powder proof, a “NPv” final smokeless proof and a “879” date code.
